This book continues along the overall theme of the previous two exploration and discovering and puzzling through those said things they explore and discover Some conflict and combat thrown in for good measure and to keep things interesting And I must say McCloskey s come a long way with his characters since the first book they come across as muchconvincing than the first Admittedly, it could still use a little refinement but the story s just fine and the characterization doesn t distr This book continues along the overall theme of the previous two exploration and discovering and puzzling through those said things they explore and discover Some conflict and combat thrown in for good measure and to keep things interesting And I must say McCloskey s come a long way with...

Much improved from the previous episode, this one takes our three explorers and their alien ally to a planet where along with Trilisk artifacts they run into a human military unit on the run from a failed rebellion They also encounter another alien that can shift from body to body, kills everyone it meets and at the end possibly probably escapes The pacing still isn t quite right the author describes movements and thought processes indetail than necessary, which causes lags in the act Much improved from the previous episode, this one takes our three explorers and their alien ally to a planet where along with Trilisk artifacts they run into a human military unit on the run from a failed rebellion They also encounter another alien that can shift from body to body, kills everyone it meets and at the end possibly probably escapes The pacing still...

Another good book in the series although, tunnels andvirtual training sessions That aside, love the characters, including Shiney It is difficult to write an alien with no human traits at all but Michael McCloskey manages it repeatedly.
