this book was ok It was about what happened to Megan after the baby was born She had alot of growing up to do in this book because now she has to take care of her baby who she named Jack The book shows all the hardships a young mother goes through to take care of her baby Megan is still a young teenager so she spends alot of the time sorting out her feelings in the book On one hand she loves Jack and is glad to have him but on the other hand she wants to go out with her friends and go to sc this book was ok It was about what happened to Megan after the baby was born She had alot of growing up to do in this book because now she has to take care of her baby who she named Jack The book shows all the hardships a young mother goes through to take care of her baby Megan is still a young teenager so she spends alot of the time sorting out her feelings in the book On one hand she loves Jack and is glad to have him but on the other hand she wants to go out with her friends and go to school but she can t She becomes very lonely and bored being at the house all day.Just like I thought, Claire is a drop dead friend Now that Megan has a baby, Claire dropped her like a hot potato She never calls Megan or visits her or Jack Some friend And to top it off she likes Luke Whose Jack s father I mean come on Some things are off limits What a hoe Like I said before she doesn t deserve Megan s friendship and I hope she s completely out of Megan s life in the last book I don t think so tho because Megan is kinda desperate for friends, even crappy ones. The whole thing with Mark and liking him seemed far fetched It made Megan look whorish I mean she just popped out a baby and she s already looking for a new boyfriend Anyway as soon as Megan saw him, I knew he was Megan s Aunt Lorna s baby that she gave away It was kinda obvious, to me anyway The book is a good book but not as good as the first one Lets see how book three is.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers To view it, click here Megan 2 follows on pretty much from the point where the first book ended Megan having newly given birth to her baby boy and it follows her as she adjusts to life being a teenage mum I think it was fairly obvious even in the first book that Megan would not give up her baby for adoption so when I realised there was a sequel it was pretty much confirmed for me even without reading the back of the book I think the turnaround in attitude from Megan s mum is a little bit hard to take In the first Megan 2 follows on pretty much from the point where the first book ended Megan having newly given birth to her baby boy and it follows her as she adjusts to life being a teenage mum I think it was fairly obvious even in the first book that Megan would not give up her baby for adoption so when I realised there was a sequel it was pretty much confirmed for me even without reading the back of the book I think the turnaround in attitude from Megan s mum is a little bit hard to take In the first book she is so for adoption and so harsh towards Megan that her pretty much being fine when Megan tells her she is keeping the baby doesn t feel completely believable although I guess seeing the baby would bring forth emotions that she had probably been suppressing I also think from the mention of Lorna s secret in book 1 that it was fairly obvious that somehow Megan was going to find her baby Regardless of it being so obvious that it was going to happen the ending did seem to be very abrupt and rang a little untrue I don t think anyone would give news like that in that way I think it is the little things though that really adds to the realism of this book Like how Megan feels in relation to her friends Claire and Josie and the ways in which her life differs to theirs The feelings and emotions are once again spot on and what really makes the Megan series of books special Mary Hooper really does know how to get in to the mind of a teenager

Just as Megan 1 this book was amazing but gave us a hintabout what it is all about Only this time she has had the baby so this shows how boys would be with the baby around so it is a bitdifferent but still better then other books i have read I would have to say this say the best book i have read.

This was such a beautifully written book Although i did find the ending a bit predictable i loved the mom character because she reminded me so much of my mum But i would have hated to have a friend like clare if i was in the same situation as the protogonist.

A great book that opens our eyes to the struggle most teenage mums have to go through.
