    Ok this is just shorter version of the offical documentation and you can read it in one sitting You build faily simple db backed application Book is easily readable 120 pages but content is not that great Author did not touch metrics and administration part at all Because framework is evolving really fast book uses version 0.7.0 some parts are outdated like authentication and views Best for people who prefer tutorial over offical docs.
