Firstly, this book was filled with spelling and grammatical errors This doesn t usually bother me, but in this book it was so prevalent that it was distracting Aside from this, the book seemed to be pretty good There were a lot of interesting plot twists The reason I rate so low is the ending has no answers A thriller has the right to leave some open ends, but this book left everything open Even if they are trying to promote a second book you have to tie something up I think maybe the author got tired of writing and just slapped an ending on.

UnresolvedLet me start off by saying a few misspelled words are no big deal to me, but this book has words missing or completely out of context for the sentence Some serious editing beyond spell check is needed in this book.Apart from that I was enjoying the story until the end when the female lead refuses to provide any info on what she knew about Olympus and flew off into the wilds The male lead doesn t pursue the matter Nothing is even mentioned about what, if anything, happens to the people who burned a man alive Nor is anything mentioned about the other deaths Nothing at all is resolved We are just supposed to close the book and toddle off Poor, poor ending as if the author ran out of ideas and just typed The End.Three stars for the first part of the book and two stars off for the lousy ending.

Olympus was published in 2014 and was written by James Ashton Mr Ashton has written three novels I was alerted by that this Thriller novel was available for free on I would categorize this novel as R as there is Mature Language and Violence The novel is written in the first person and is set primarily in contemporary Canada The primary character is Peter York York is an former journalist and is called into the hospital to see his former boss, William Ardell Ardell asks York to use his investigative journalist skills to find a woman who had earlier visited Ardell in the hospital At first York resists, but he is enticed by the offer of 500,000 York reluctantly allows Ariel s daughter to assist with his investigation, and he soon finds that he ha feeling of the young woman They are soon facing murder and conspiracy There did seems to be quite a few editorial errors with the copy of the book that I read, and it seemed a little loose I overall did enjoy the 6.5 hours I spent reading the novel As with most Thrillers, there were many twists and turns in the plot I give this novel a 4 out of 5 Further book reviews I have written can be accessed at

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THRILLERHIGHLY RECOMMENDED THRILLERI do not want to give away to much of this story, because there are so many twists and turns throughout the book that you really have to read it yourself to get the full thrill of the story The basic aspect of OLYMPUS is that it is a thrilling adventure Peter York, a former journalist, is asked by his former employer, who he has not seen in years, to take on a new job He asks Peter to locate a girl and bring her back to him This is where the story gets exciting This book is not only adventurous, but there are so many twists and turns that it keeps the reader on the edge of their seat, flipping the pages Once I started reading it, I could not put it down The author gives the reader such a detailed description that the reader actually feels that they are with Peter every step of the way This is an amazing book that anyone who enjoys adventure, mystery, or just a really good thriller must read I can assure you that I am looking forward to reading books from James Ashton.

This is an interesting story that is plagued with typos and misspellings Spell check does not equal proofreading. This is a giant conspiracy mystery where our hero, Peter York a former journalist turned insurance investigator, is called to the death bed of his former boss,William Ardell Ardell explains that he needs him to find out what really happened when his wife disappeared 15 years earlier he had been visited that morning by a strange woman who said she had information and Ardell offers him an obscene amount of money to locate her When Peter does find the mystery woman she is immediately run down by an SUV Joined by Ardell s daughter Tori Peter will be hunted, threatened and terrorized by a mysterious group that wants to stop them It is a Bohemian Grove type secret society Canadian style who hold the secret to Patricia Ardell s death Luckily Peter has a secret weapon, a former security guard who is like Q Even when they solve the mystery they are left with questions than answers.

I enjoyed this book but gave it a lower rating because of the spelling and grammar errors There were some surprising plot twists but the ending was rather abrupt Many questions were left unanswered.
