I really enjoyed the book The Headless Horseman and think it is a great book for a teacher to have in their classroom The book is about a skinny, odd looking teacher named Ichabod Crane and his love for a woman in Sleepy Hollow Ichabod also believed in ghost stories and was frightened very easily There was another man in town that also liked the same woman, so he and Ichabod clashed over her There are strange happenings involving Ichabod and he continues to getandfrightened He I really enjoyed the book The Headless Horseman and think it is a great book for a tea...

Based on the familiar Washington Irving tale, this was pretty good for an early reader book It presented the story well While I suppose it had some spook to it, it wasn t too bad We learn all about Icabod Crane and his cowardly ways.

This should be a satisfactory version for the younger reader Ichabod Crane and Brom Bones are in love with the same young lady Brom Bones takes advantage of Ichabod s belief in ghost stories to scare him away permanently.
